You are right to realize that sometimes we have to push ourselves. Women are pulled in many directions and we try our best to keep everyone else happy. Your wellness is a priority, though, that will keep you in top shape to do the things you would like to do.
Finding time out of a busy schedule is not easy. Many women feel defeated by their weight and health issues and give up on a regular exercise schedule. Try focusing on the healthy benefits of exercise and nutrition versus the numbers on the scale.
Try to find others who support your efforts. Meet at the gym or for a brisk walk at the park. Start with small steps, find 10 minutes to exercise instead of carving out two hours, join a gym that’s nearby and convenient, or just get outside more frequently. Involve the whole family and even the dog. You can take group walks together after dinner, or ride your bikes. Get up an extra half-hour earlier and use the time for your exercise. You’ll find it invigorating and it might motivate you to stay with it. Do whatever works for you, but make every minute count – for your own physical and mental wellness.
