A personal invite from Michaela Bradley: Meet me at Girls’ Day Out – Saturday, August 15
It’s easy to focus on taking care of everyone else, but taking care of you… that can be a different story, right?
I don’t know about you, but every now and then I can use a little “me time.” A fun-filled summer with four children demands a lot of energy. By August, right around the time we gear up for a new school year and a thrilling football season, I can use a little recharging. Luckily, this year I’ll be at the Baptist Good for You signature event of the year, Girls’ Day Out. It’s a day for each of us to take time and rediscover all that’s good for you, hosted by our friends at Baptist Health and WJCT.
Together, we will hit a giant reset button on August 15 as Girls’ Day Out offers each of us the opportunity to redefine and re-commit to our individual health goals. Here’s what you can expect:
- You will hear from physicians and other trusted experts on health and wellness topics that interest you most, with nationally recognized keynote speakers and a wide variety of smaller breakout sessions to choose from.
- You’ll be lifted up and motivated to refocus your energy on your personal health and wellbeing.
- And no Girl’s Day Out would be complete without free health screenings, a little pampering, some good laughs, good food, door prizes and lots of nice goodies to take away.
I hope you’ll gather your friends and book your tickets soon so you can join me on August 15 to celebrate the best time of our lives. I’ll see you there!
